We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.

We believe in one God, the Holy Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In one Lord, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the only-begotten, eternally born of the Father, we see the fullness of God. He is Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one essence with the Father, through whom all things were created. For our sake and for our salvation, He descended from heaven, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary, becoming fully human. He was crucified, suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day He rose again, in accordance with the Scriptures, ascended into heaven, and now sits at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end.
At St. Michael Ethiopian Orthodox Church, we honor this faith through worship, prayer, and service, following the path of Christ under the guidance of the Holy Trinity, and with the protection and intercession of St. Michael. And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of Life, who proceeds from the Father; who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets.
